BIOG
I started playing rugby at the age of 4 at Greenock Wanderers RFC, where I played until I was 20. Played my first game of senior rugby at 16, for Greenock Wanderers 1st XV who were in National 1 at the time. Played at GHA RFC for the season of 07-08, where I played my first full season at Premier 1, as a scrum half and also full back. Joined Glashow hawks in the summer of 2008, after a short spell during the summer at Rotoiti RFC in Rotarua, New Zealand. This year is my 6th season with hawks, last year was the best by a long shot and an hugely proud to have helped make my mark at hawks by helping get the club back up where we belong in prem 1. Can’t wait to get back in about it with the big boys.
I graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc (hons) in Sports Medicine in 2008. I worked in the southern general and various GP practices for my first season at Hawks while I applied for medical school. I started studying medicine at The University of Glasgow’ s Wolfson Medical School in 2009. I am in my 5th and final year this year and have my finals in February and march next year. My future career goals are to become an Orthopaedic surgeon and hopefully help fix up the broken bodies of all my old mates here at old anniesland.
