Hawks got Stirling County's Centenary season off to a start this afternoon with a pre season friendly played over three periods in glorious weather. Hawks won 31-18 and try scorers were Colin Shaw ,Kenny Baillie,Steve Gordon,Wes Henry and Rory Lamont who arrived this week from the Northampton Saints Rugby Academy. Hamilton Sevens Hawks sent a young team to Hamilton sevens including 4 players just out of school. Even the pairing up of the Gibb brothers for the first ever time could not help. Although playing some exciting rugby they did not progress to final. 2 out of the 4 matches were narrow losses No team list has been added yet.
