			 Percy Friebe

As Scotland prepare to take on the Auld Enemy at Murrayfield on Saturday some 60 years ago thats what the bold GHK Hon President Percy Friebe was doing
On a March day in 1952 Percy won his Cap against the might of the post War England team lining up alongside Hamish Dawson of Glasgow Accies
They faced an England side with some formidable players of the time like Woodward and Sykes of Wasps Evans of Sale and Bob Stirling of The RAF
Scotland lost 3-19
It took until 1955 and after 17 straight losses for Scotland to record a victory when a drop goal from Jimmie Docherty Glasgow HSFP sealed a win over Wales at Murrayfield
However Percy still marches on at 80--athlete and gentleman
