Dear Supporter,
 
Forget the woes of our national team and the financial problems in Govan, this Saturday (18th) we are back on league duty and host Allan Glens at New Anniesland with a later kick off at 3pm now that the afternoons are lengthening.
 
I will let you know more about the team later in the week but the 2nd XV are also on League duty at home versus Cartha, so there are no excuses please come out and support your Club.
 
In the evening Hawks are holding their annual dinner and our own Gordon Wilson will be entertaining the troops.  If you would like to attend there may be one or two seats available so please contact Alasdair Graham.
 
The refurbishment works on the Gordon Mackay bar will be under way so the upper floor bar will be utilised and there will be a modest pre match lunch at 1.30pm so please let me know if you would like to join us, the cost will also be modest. We already have a couple of tables organised.
 
On the subject of Gordon Mackay, once the bar refurbishments are complete the Club and section are planning a special event in April which will involve a couple of special rugby games, a big party, and lots of fun, just what Gordon would have liked. If you have any ideas or suggestions please let us know and it will see if we can accommodate.
 
I will issue a more detailed team list and news later in the week.
