Sunday saw a fiercely contested match between two very evenly matched teams. The fact that the result was drawn for long periods of the game and that the winning score came in the last minute tells its own story. This was easily our hardest game of the season but it was also our best performance so far. We knew Hawick would be tough and they didn’t disappoint, however all the Hawks players stepped up their games and matched them in every department. Some special mentions: Rory (Scrambler) Cairnduff for his 2 well taken tries, Andrew Duncan for playing his best game for the club, and debutant Sean Graham who got stuck in and made several excellent tackles.



This was easily our hardest game of the season but it was also our best performance so far. If we can maintain this standard in the coming weeks then we should look forward to continued success.
