Report from Jedforest

From Jedforest website

Glasgow Hawks once again proved that there is an ever widening gap at the top of club rugby in Scotland with a convincing 51 - 35 win at Riverside. The bigger, stronger, faster and fitter visitors blew Jed away in the first 25 minutes to streak to a 25 - 0 lead. Jed did get on the scoreboard before half time through a Darren Gillespie try to make it 25 - 7.

Hawks scored another 3 tries before Jed decided to wake up and play. John Szkudro, David Gobby and Lewis Young scored 3 quick tries to actually give Jed a glimmer of hope. The game had turned into a typical end of season free for all though with both teams throwing the ball about and Hawks scored again to take the game away from Jed. Credit to the Jed boys though as we did get the last try of the match when Connor Hogg rumbled over. Iain Chisholm had another dream day with the boot, converting all 5 tries from wide out.
