He follows names like Herbert Waddell Laurie Duff Max and Brian Simmers et al and in recent times Cammy Little and Scott Hutton
Uncle Duncan played for Glasgow Accies against the Barbarians which included Will Carling and Jonathon Davies in the Herbert Waddell Memorial Match at New Anniesland in 1988 and no other than Roy Dingwall ran touch
Legend has it that Jonathon Davies had to make a tactical withdrawal during second half owing to some contractual arrangement with his club in Wales

SUMMER SQUAD CHANGES ANNOUNCED
The number of nationalities represented on the Barbarians three-match summer tour has been extended to 12 with the recruitment of 58-times capped Wallaby Mark Chisholm and fellow lock, Italy's Cornelius van Zyl.
Other additions since the provisional squad was announced last week are Casey Laulala, Heinke van der Merwe, Francois Louw and Ernst Joubert.
Among those sidelined by injury are Stephen Jones and Schalk Brits.
The tour opener against England on 27 May (for the Killik Cup) is followed by assignments against Ireland in Gloucester and Wales at the Millennium Stadium. The Barbarians defeated all three countries in their most recent fixtures against them.
