We are sad to announce the death yesterday of former player, Sandy Neilson.
Sandy was a versatile back whose appearances for the 1st xv spanned the 1960's and 70's. A drop goal expert, he could nail them from all angles on the pitch.
He was also a prominent member of our Golf section and played his club golf at Glasgow Golf club and Prestwick.
Sandy was also heavily involved in the formation of Hawks while representing GHK in 1997 along with Kenny Hamilton, Dave Jerdan and Richard Eadie.

Our thoughts are with Sandy's family at this time.

Sandy's funeral will be this Friday, 1 June at 9am at the Clydebank Crematorium, Mountblow Road, Clydebank, G81 4SL
