Players - whilst recognising that many of you work hard on strength in the gym I think we all know that we need to be much fitter if we are to regain Hawks' place at the top of Scottish club rugby.
Prior to the start of pre-season in July we will be holding hard running sessions a couple of times a week for those of you ready to make a difference this year. These are planned for Old Anniesland on Tuesday evenings and Saturday late morning/lunchtime (times tbc). The first will take place this Saturday starting (ie you ready to go) at 12pm prompt. Trainers or mouldies only required (bring your own water).
These will be a good old fashioned hard sessions so be on time, come prepared to work and think of Muhammad Ali..."I hated every minute of training, but I said, "Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.""
