Old golfers never die

This weekend sees the intrepid trio of Cammy Little-Colin Shaw--Fergus Wallace take to the roads and courses of Arran in aid of Spina Bifida

Clare Cogan Turner Acting Head of Fundraising for the Scottish Spina Bifida Association said

“The Scottish Spina Bifida Association is delighted that the Glasgow Hawks and Glasgow Warriors are raising vital funds to help us provide our extensive range of services and support across Scotland to those affected by spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus. There is currently no cure for these life limiting disabilities so there will always be a need for the expertise and services our specialist charity provides and fundraising is crucial to our continuance. We need to raise over £100 an hour to support over 3,500 children, young people, carers and family members and we couldn’t do it without the generous donations from members of the public and their support of our events and activities. Thank you to all those who support the Hawks and Warriors in the 100 Hole Golf Challenge, you are making a real difference.”

Hawks are proud to be associated with SSBA and Friday's fund raising efforts and would be extremely grateful for any support that players, members or friends can give to the charity through our "Just Giving" web page link or the "text giving" number below. Thanks in advance for any donations.

Updates will appear on the Hawks website on Friday so be sure to check in on what should be a relatively gentle workout for Shawsy and a borderline impossible test of endurance for Ferg and Cammy!
