Former Hawk and marathon golfer Colin Shaw has joined Scotland 7s Squad
Apart from skill and speed stamina plays its part and he displayed plenty of that recently during the 100 Hole Golf Challenge on Arran with Cammy Little and Fergus Wallace in aid of Spina Bifida
Colin Shaw has rejoined the Scotland Sevens squad after leaving Glasgow Warriors at the end of last season.
Colin said: "I'm really excited to be back with the sevens and looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead.
"It's a great year to be involved with the possibility of a Sevens Rugby World Cup in 2013 and the Commonwealth Games in 2014, so I'm hoping to get stuck in and help the team achieve their potential."
Colin joins on a one-year-deal and goes straight into the squad that will play in the final leg of the FIRA-AER GP European Sevens Series this weekend in Odense, Denmark.
New Glasgow signing Byron McGuigan has been released by the Warriors for this weekend's competition.
