Rugby Development Officer

Salary £20,966 (£10,523 pro rata)
One year fixed term : 15 hours per week
Glasgow Hawks seek to appoint a committed, ambitious Club Development Officer to progress the club’s aims of developing as a Centre of Rugby Development Excellence and in turn contributing towards Scottish Rugby’s vision for growing the game.
You will have relevant experience of sport development, rugby coaching and coach education. You will additionally hold a relevant qualifications and a full, valid driving licence.
You will deliver a rugby development programme to maintain a thriving youth rugby structure within Glasgow Hawks that ensures the club is vibrant and at the centre of sustainable rugby development in the City of Glasgow.
Key Accountabilities
Support the implementation of the club’s development plan. 
Deliver high quality coaching sessions to club and associated cluster schools and community groups.
Manage and Coordinate a team of community rugby coaches delivering quality community rugby programme
Organise and facilitate a coach development programme.
Assist with recruitment, retention and development of all players and club volunteers.
To develop & implement the Glasgow Hawks Youth Rugby Academy
Work in partnership with a range of agencies to raise the profile of rugby in the local community.
