This season sees Hawks lock horns again with one of the Borders finest Kelso
On our last visit to Poynder Park I was impressed with how the Kelso physio cut over the turf like a gazelle with a graceful stride that belied the speed at which he travelled just like a world class runner
That was because he was a world class runner John Robson who could run 3m 52.8s for the mile when the world record stood at 3m 51s
But don't get disheartened we have Scott Inglis a sportsman of many parts
whose clipped stride is strangely effective at covering the pitch on match days
Scott takes to the streets of Glasgow tomorrow in the 10K
So good luck Scottie
