UNDER 18s WIN FIRST LEAGUE GAME
 
Hawks newly formed Under18side started their maiden season on Saturday at home to Greenock Wanderers. After a closely fought first half, a try on the stroke of half time brought Hawks level. In the second half, the boys carried on the fluent style of last year's Under 16 Scottish Champions to score some outstanding tries, one in particular which started from a counter attack from our own line and ended, following some deft handling and interplay with a try under the posts. Hawks ran out worthy winners by 43-19. An excellent effort from a team containing a lot of new faces who are still getting to know each other.
Thanks to all friends and relatives who supported and to the squad members and parents who helped with food,water carrying and other much appreciated support.
