This Saturday sees Hawks host the men from Poynder Park Kelso
In Hawks first season they met Kelso in the Scottish Cup Final which had attracted a Finals Day crowd of 17,833
On this occasion a star studded Hawks team captained by Accies coach Davie Wilson that included the likes of Tommy Hayes Glenn Metcalfe Derek Stark and Mike Beckham triumphed

However a warning for Saturday as Kelso coached by John Jeffry returned the following season to play Hawks in the same competition at New Anniesland 
In the last minute Hawks Eugene Martin failed to find  touch which allowed Kelso to run in a try that meant no return visit to HQ
