A historic rugby clash rooted in the 1880s is played out again on Saturday at Old ANNIESLAND in the form of the David Gilmore Memorial Match which sees GHK host old rivals Glasgow Accies
This contest in its various forms over 120 years has seen many of the great names of Scottish rugby
This is borne out when you realise the contestants involved in this match have produced 127 international caps in a game that produces a timeline for the evolution of rugby in our City
KO at Old Anniesland 3.00 pm
A full day's activities are planned as follows:
1 pm onwards - Pay as you go casual lunch available in the Jimmie Ireland Stand
2.30pm approx. - GHK Mini Rugby Section v Glasgow Accies Mini Rugby section
3.00 pm GHK v Glasgow Accies
5.30pm Post Match Informal Dinner. A few places are still available at £15 per head. Please contact Ewan Cameron if you wish to book a place.
8.00pm approx - Live band in the pavilion.
