With the return of the All Blacks this week memories of previous visits are stirred
This`writer recalls in November 1953 going to New Anniesland to watch the All Blacks train before they took on the Combined Cities(Edinburgh/Glasgow) Team at Old Anniesland.
He remembers watching the All Blacks'full back Bob Scott practise kicking in his`bare feet with the heavy leather balls of that time. The same Bob Scott kicked New Zealand to a 3-0 victory over Scotland at Murrayfield On that occasion the match ball was recovered from the schoolboy seats by by a young Charlie Forsyth
