Though there have been problems caused by an ever-lengthening list of injuries to his squad, a great home win for The Academy 1st XV on Saturday against Bell Baxter HS (aka Howe of Fife u18's!!) put back the smile Coach Westons' face as his charges put 5 past stuffy opposition.

Running out winners by 39pts to 22 at New Anniesland, the scores on the doors came from Jack Feeney, Euan McKirdy, Cameron Small, and Ross Swanson with a brace: Jake Graham had his kicking boots on too, with 4 conversions & 2 penalties.

Next up is a home match this Wednesday (k/o 3.45pm) at home against Hutchie. Keep it up boys!
