Remember the dizzy optimism of yesterday when we all thought a thaw was on the way?

Well, it hasn't really happened and a mid-afternoon pitch inspection confirmed what we all feared - parts of our hallowed surface remain unplayable. However, to give us all the best possible chance of getting this crucial derby on tomorrow, it's proposed to inspect again in the morning at 9 a.m.
We'll keep you posted.

Notwithstanding this unwelcome development, tomorrow's lunch will still go ahead, so you've still got a perfect excuse of getting out of that trip to the shops!!
