Cancellation of last Saturday's local league derby against GHK notwithstanding, the powers behind the throne from "Over-the-Fence" turned up promptly at the Gordon MacKay Lounge for a series of pre-brandial libations and a subsequent luncheon, being royally entertained by our own Supreme Command.

Apparently dining and quaffing as if their lives depended upon it (or so say the rumours circulating on Facebook), Messers. Smith (G) and Wilson (G) hosted a highly successful event attended by a gathering of friends, sponsors and "comrades-in-rugby".

Especially welcome were Jamie Livingston of The Wooden Spoon Society and Mrs. Chris Mills on behalf of The Preshal Trust, and the Club was delighted to be able to present each with a cheque for £500 as a result of fundraising efforts since the start of the year largely carried out on the part of our playing squad - well done to all involved.
