May I thank Hawks for a most enjoyable day out at Old Anniesland yesterday.
It was great meeting old friends from my playing days in the 60s ! I
was just saying to the guys standing in the "high school" bar the
memories of the wild times we had upstairs and downstairs, I also mentioned
it is sad to think that the modern day player will not know any of their opponents tomorrow as they don't mix with each other whereas in my day
it was part and parcel of the game to mix with your opponents and
where life long friendships were made.
maybe I am just an old fart)
Thanking everyone at Old Anniesland for a great day out with some
great memories
