S1 4 Nations (+ Pirates!)

In fine, dry conditions we were delighted to welcome our guests from Grimaud (France), Tynedale (England) and Lisburn (Northern Ireland) along with the Anniesland Pirates assembled from players from the 4 participating clubs.
Over 100 players took part in a fast paced series of very competitive games this afternoon. We were also pleased to see so many supporters from all the clubs present.
It was a great experience for all the players and the afternoon was capped off by a great singing session upstairs in the pavilion from all clubs after another OA feeding frenzy.
Quick note to Tynedale however- you'll have to do a lot better than 'Swing Low' next time!
Thanks to all our visitors for their contribution to today's proceedings. We hope to see them all again soon, and safe home.
Events like this reaffirm why rugby is the greatest of sports.
