Good Attendance at U15 Strength & Conditioning


Week 2 of our strength & conditioning programme was well attended, with numbers up to 15.

Some warmup excercises progressed to different squat techniques with a weightlifting bar. (Or in our case - a broom handle!)

When we moved on to the chin-up bar there were some impressive performances and the boys learned about helping each other to push for that extra couple of dips. The big forwards obviously have more to haul up to that bar but Andrew Davidson showed that it can be done and these guys are the ones who really need to have good upper body strength.

The session finished with a V-sit challenge. When Preston dropped out it left Finlay head-to-head against JackH. After 4 minutes 37 seconds Jack was last man standing (or sitting!)
