Coach Jamie Dempsey comments;
Hawks squad to face Melrose has some changes due to international call ups, some players returning from and sitting out due to injury. Haddon McPherson comes in at scrum half for his first start of the season and an energetic performance is expected from him to speed the game up. James Gormley and Stephen Leckey also return for their first start after injury and travels respectively

We are under no illusions as to the size of the challenge facing us as we travel to an in form and top of the table Melrose team fresh from a big victory at Millbrae last weekend. John will have prepared his team well this week and we know we will have to be on top of our game at set piece in order to play our attacking game. Game 3 of the league promises to be our toughest challenge so far and we are excited to see how well we can perform against the league leaders.
