S1 and S2 dodged the rain today and travelled to the southside to play GHA.

Our younger team fought hard against a well organised home side in the end losing out 18-6 (6 tries to 2) in blustery conditions at Braidholm. The S1 boys continue to improve in their first season together.

With a team containing no fewer than 6 changes to that which recently defeated Stirling County, our S2s won their game comfortably scoring 11 tries (6 converted) to record a final score of 39-7. A terrific team effort and great to see so many boys putting in a strong start to the season.

We are very grateful to GHA for putting the game on and for their clubhouse hospitality afterwards.

Next week we welcome Currie RFC to Old Anniesland.
