ACCIES TEAM V EK

League Match v EK – Squad News on a Thurs Night?
by Webmaster
It would appear that, despite an average age of 84 years, a certain section of the "Accies Loyal" are a fiesty lot and like things in their lives "just so". The fact that the squad's been posted late in recent weeks has meant that the complaints have been raining down in recent days from this disgruntled lot to the effect that, most importantly, they haven't been able to rise of a Friday morning, get wired into their All-Bran and banana and connect their iPads to receive news of their Saturday favourites!

Well, you all know us down in the Bat-Cave - never ones to offend. And so, suitably chastised but this week in plenty of time for some of our very favourite supporters to get their teeth in situ, comfy footwear on and into a positive frame of mind to fully dissect Coach Coups selection at tomorrow's breakfast table, here is the 1st XV Squad for Sat:

G Paul, K Malcolm, G Robertson, K Seran, C Johnstone, C Dalrymple, A Jackson (c), B Frame, S Seaton, A MacCallum, B Bell, G Bryden, C Wright, R Cowan, R Watts, C Robertson, F Matheson & M Hermes

Personnel news now, in case you're interested boys and girls, and let's start with the absences: Kris Boyle and Kenny Beattie are both back at Hawks and Jamie Watson seems to be spending so much time on the physio's bench these days there's an ill-founded rumour he's taken up residence there (wonder why Jamie?). Michael Walker is this week on "burd duty" after 2 weeks of exams and Elliot's away on biz (or at least that's what he says!). On the plus side, Graham B's back (so the touch-line will be a much livelier place, and that's no lie) as is Kiran, who this week is partnering the increasingly impressive Robertson Minor. Nifty, who now seems to have sorted out his priorities (welcome back wee man!) is in after a good week at training, Ferg Matheson from Oban steps up to the bench for the first time this season and Brad makes a welcome start after impressing last week against LL. But the BIG news is that Captain Fantastic himself, Andrew Jackson Esq. is back - BOOM! Let's all just hope he gives us a game worth the admission price!! ;-)

And finally..... a word about our match photographer, Alan Watson who's only gone and broken his wrist "playing with my new puppy". OK, Alan, if that's the story - fine. Whatever. But get "sorted" soon buddy - you're missed by us all at NA!
