Good morning all,
With over a week to go before the next GROGS meeting on Wednesday 13th November I wish to congratulate you on the speedy response to the invitation to attend. At the time of writing I have received 68 positive responses and I am certain that there are more to come.
Dr Donald McLeod the President of the SRU will be an interesting speaker and with Gordon Wilson in the chair it is guaranteed to be a lively afternoon.
We are building up to the Christmas bonanza and will confirm next week that we have a highly interesting speaker lined up.
Our webmaster Brian Rigby has asked me to send you the following note:
"we know that many of you have logged into the GROGS website. Unfortunately the participation in the Caption Competition is rather disappointing, especially when there are so many nimble minded members in the GROGS. Why don't you take a look and have a go at winning a superior bottle of plonk? Don't worry, the technology is straightforward and if you are struggling get the grandchildren to help"
Finally if you haven't responded to the invitation please do not leave it too long as we have to give the Caterer more accurate numbers.
