And now in his own words
Rusty here, just thought I'd give you the latest on goings on down under. Just got back from Singapore yesterday, where I was lucky enough to be a surprise inclusion in the Cottesloe team playing in the 66th Singapore cricket club rugby 7s tournament. Had a great time and gained a lot of experience playing in front of a crowd of 5000 and against some former and current international 7s players. Here are our results from the weekend;

Pool games -

Lost to Daveta (Fijian national development team) 21 - 7
Drew with Casuarina Cougars 12 - 12
Beat Singapore Cricket Club 24 - 5

Cup games -

Lost to Asia Pacific Dragons (Eventual winners featured. former IRB 7s player of the year Mikeale Pesamino and coached by legend Caucaunibuca) 33 - 0

Plate 1/4 final beat NS Silverbacks (invitational team from Sydney) 24-10
Plate semi final lost to Impala (Kenyan national development team) 14-12
