The above scheme supported the Russian Rugby Federation with a requested workshop on elite age-grade player performance for professional club and national team Coaches. The workshop attended by 15 coaches was delivered at the Russian Federation’s Academy by Iain Monaghan (SRU), who is the Elite Development Coach at Glasgow Warriors. Many thanks must go to Iain and the SRU for supporting this project. Italie The course was attended by 16 delegates from the Italian Rugby Federation (FIR). It was organised for the FIR to increase their resource of Educators in them supporting the IRB/FIRA-AER Training & Education Support “TES” adoption scheme. The now IRB licensed Educators will be able to deliver relevant educational activities in the unions that they support in Europe. It will also assist the FIR with their own educational processes that they continue to develop. The course was delivered by IRB licensed Trainers; Franco Ascione (FIR), Carlo Orlandi (FIR), Simon Jones (England) & Douglas Langley (IRB/FIRA-AER). Many thanks must go to the FIRA for their hosting and support of the course.
