A Scottish international rugby player has appeared in court charged with assaulting another player in Glasgow's west end.
Ryan Wilson, 24, is alleged to have assaulted 29-year-old Ally Maclay, who plays for Glasgow Hawks, on Great Western Road on 27 October.
Glasgow Warriors forward Mr Wilson appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court on two assault charges.
He made no plea or declaration and was granted bail by Sheriff Ian Miller.
Mr Wilson has played four times for the Scottish national team.
It was previously reported three other players - Rory Hughes, 20, Sean Maitland, 25, and 28-year-old Ryan Grant - were due to appear in court over the alleged assault.
A Crown Office spokeswoman said: "The Procurator Fiscal received a report relating to an incident involving one man aged 20, one aged 25 and another aged 28 alleged to have occurred in Glasgow on 27 October 2013.
"The report remains under consideration by the Procurator Fiscal".
