Big Hawks Meet Little Hawks

Following on from Ken Hamilton's posting thanking the Hawks players, current and former, who came along on Sunday afternoon, can I add a huge thank you on behalf of all the players, coaches and parents associated with the GHK Mini and Hawks Midi rugby sections. It was a real treat for the young rugby players to have the opportunity to meet and to be coached by real rugby players and to learn a little about what it takes to become a professional or top-level amateur player. Our coaches and parents were hugely impressed by the time and effort put in by the Hawks players, who were superb ambassadors for the club and their sport, and I'm sure a good few of the junior players will be insisting on seeing their new heroes in action, beginning at Hawks next home match on January 14 versus Hawick.

Thanks to Eric, Steven, Ritchy, Mike, Kenny, and Ally from Hawks and Steve and Graeme from Warriors - you're all welcome back anytime (next training session Sunday 8 January!)
