Christmas Message?


I thought that was something the Queen did? (I will pause here to let you add your own smart observation).

However, at this festive time, the Board would like to thank a number of parties for the continued success of Hawks.

Our major sponsors, of course, are essential to our continued functioning. So if you are doing any last minute Christmas shopping don’t forget to drop in to MacKays stores and Greaves. (Using Anglo Irish money?)

We would also wish to acknowledge the continued support of the advertisers, match sponsors and player sponsors who contribute so generously. Special thanks to Ann Little, Kenny Baillie and Colin Kerr for doing so much in that field.

Our hard working secretary, Hugh Barrow, is tireless in his efforts on behalf of Hawks and the new IT equipment contributed and installed by Graham Technology means that we are kept informed by the most up to date website in Scotland and a flurry of emails.

We would also like to thank the players, coaches, team managers, physios and medical back-up at all levels at Anniesland. Their commitment and sheer hard work makes this the most successful rugby set-up in Scotland.

Long may it continue.

And to all involved at Hawks and our supporters – Merry Christmas and a Happy (and winning) New Year.
