Scott Rodgers will guest for Lenzie this Saturday against the Co optimists in a match to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the Club
Lenzie have a proud tradition in pioneering sport not least that they were one of the first to take a Soccer X1 to play in Northern Ireland the match being organised by the Lenzie Cricket Club and played at the Ulster Cricket Club
This bizarre event happened in 1879 the Cricket Club having formed a football team in 1875 that played in the Scottish Cup until 1887
Another landmark is reached on Saturday so good luck to all at Lenzie for a successful day
