On the day that Scotland take on Argentina in two continents at different levels of the game, it's the under-20s who kick off proceedings against their counterparts, in the IRB Junior World Championship in New Zealand (Friday 20 June, kick-off 3.05pm local, 4.05am UK).
There are nine changes to the team in this ninth place play-off, from the side who beat Italy in the 9-12 play-off on Sunday. Coming off the bench to start are prop Phil Cringle, hooker James Malcolm, lock Andrew Cramond, centre Chris Dean and fullback Gavin Lowe. Neil Irvine-Hess moves from lock to flanker and Blair Hutchison from outside to inside centre.
Coming into the team on the right wing is Jamie Farndale, who will be earning his 24th cap at this level of the game after three seasons with Scotland under-20, three IRB Junior World Championships and 15 tries.
Head coach Sean Lineen said: "It's been an amazing experience and we want to make sure we finish on the right note. We'd like ot be part of a winning double over Argentina tomorrow, that would be great for Scottish rugby, but obviously our focus is on our game. This is a huge test for us to finish 9th and we know we'll have to work incredibly hard to get that result.
"Argentina are quite a young side, they love a drive, love a scrum and they're very sturdily built. If you don't have them the first time, they're very good at bouncing off. They're brave and incredibly proud as well, so we have to go out there and make sure we play at a tempo that we're confident with, make them feel uncomfortable.
"Against Italy we showed what we could do - we need to make sure we play our way for a little bit longer."
