All at Hawks and Anniesland wish Eric the best of luck
Today's Daily Record reports that Eric Milligan has landed a deal to go full-time with Glasgow Warriors.
Eric will be on the bench for tonight's Celtic League showdown with champions Ospreys at Old Anniesland, but the PE teacher's school have kept his job open for him.
The Glasgow Hawks skipper said the : "I will be on an 18-month contract with the Warriors and my bosses at St Columba's School in Kilmacolm have agreed to keep my post open until the end of that period.
"I can't thank them enough. It is a fantastic place to work and it is a great comfort to know I have something solid to go back to."
Warriors coach Hugh Campbell admitted he will be fielding a much stronger side than he had anticipated after Scotland chief Frank Hadden released several Six Nations hopefuls, including Jon Petrie, Graeme Morrison and Euan Murray.
Hugh said: "It is a far cry from a year ago when we had to operate with virtually an entire second-choice squad.
"The aim is to establish continuity and momentum after our Heineken Cup win over Bourgoin."
