HAWKS AMONG THE EARLY BIRDS

Glasgow Hawks could clinch their third successive BT Premier Division 1 title when they face Boroughmuir at Meggetland tomorrow (kick-off 2pm).

Hawks require three points to clinch the championship so a victory or a draw with them scoring four or more tries would mean the silverware heads again to Old Anniesland.

Norman Douglas, vice-chairman of the Scottish Rugby Council, and Alan Bonas, head of communications BT Scotland, will be on hand to make the presentation if necessary.

Many clubs will be kicking-off early tomorrow to allow, players, officials and supporters the chance to get to Murrayfield to support Scotland in the Calcutta Cup match.

We have been advised of the following early kick-offs.
