Scotland u19 suffered a heavy defeat to the hands of England u19 at Twickenham Stoop tonight in their last international before the IRB World Championship in Dubai.

Having gone it at half-time 29-0 down, head coach Peter Wright admitted that the Scots could just not master the physicality of their opponents.

Scotland’s only points came from an unconverted David McCall try.

Wright added: “We just didn’t perform in the first half but the boys came out after the break and began to play with a bit more conviction.”
