ANOTHER ANNIESLAND HATRICK

For the third year on the trot, one of our associate schools the Glasgow Academy 1st XI won the Scottish School Girls Hockey Championship. Only Marr College has ever managed three consecutive wins, so it is a terrific achievement. Needless to say, we are all thrilled to bits and very proud of the squad. The results were as follows:

Section play: Berwickshire High School won 2 - 1
Robert Gordon's College drew 2 - 2
Strathallan lost 0 - 1

Penalty strokes against Gordon's to decide the 2nd place in the section - we won 4 - 3 (Strath went through to semis as section winner)
Semi-Final against Hutchesons' Grammar won 1 - 0
Final against George Watson's College won 2 - 0
