Hugh Campbell is looking to add to his squad
Glasgow dropped to eighth place in the Celtic League as they turned in another poor performance at Firhill last night.
Warriors coach Hugh Campbell pointed to a failure to retain possession and exert pressure on the Borders 22 as the key problem, but admitted that a lack of experience and nous, and ability to make the right decisions at key moments is a weakness in the Glasgow armoury.
Hugh said in The Scotsman: "There is no doubt we can be an outstanding team - the game against Bourgoin here, away to Ulster in Belfast, and beating Munster recently, another performance out of the top drawer - so it's very difficult to accept a sub-standard performance.
"The makings are there of a very good squad, but that maturity, having players who can control a game week after week after week, is the difference.
"We are looking at adding players to the squad. It's not easy, but there are people we are looking very closely at - quality players and talented local players, from inside and outside Scotland."
