'Glasgow Accies have announced their new coaching team for next season. Simon Wintle who was 2nd xv and backs last season and former Accies, Hawks and Glasgow District player Chas Afuakwah will be the men in charge. Highly experienced back row forward Andy Pogrel has been appointed captain and takes over from Al Smith.
Duncan Beattie is stepping down to take over midi rugby. Duncan has been in charge for four years and achieved three promotions and a place in the Shield final at Murrayfield last season. The Club thank him for these superb achievements.
Accies have gone through a transition period this year with a number of players from the Shield final side either retiring, moving from Glasgow or long term injured. A number of talented young players have come into the side and they are confident that the future is bright.'

Annual Dinner

There are only four days left to confirm your attendance at this years' Annual Dinner. Friday 8th April is the date, 6:00 for a 7:00 sit-down, the deadline for reserving your place is Wednesday 6th April, places are limited so you should get round to it sooner rather than later.
