END OF A JOURNEY

Last Saturday's win over Stirling County saw a journey draw to a close--a journey that started in Tygerburg outside Cape Town in early July 2003--a journey that took us to three League titles, two 2nd xv league titles ,a League and Cup double and the Premiership Sevens.
The journey took us to England,France and Italy--we played 87 matches and lost 10 and along the way we have had players sign pro contacts ,and play for Scotland at all levels.

Time now to look ahead---"the most difficult part of being successful is that you have to keep being successful"

"This is the word that year by year
While in her place the Club is set
Every one of her sons must hear,
And none that hears it dare forget.
This they all with a joyful mind
Bear through life like a torch in flame,
And falling fling to the host behind -
"Play up! play up! and play the game!"

With apologies to Sir Henry Newbolt
