ROSS ON BENCH AGAINST JAPAN

SCOTS MAKE TWO CHANGES IN SEARCH OF CONTINUITY
Scotland Under 19 head coach Peter Wright has selected his side to play Japan in the third and final pool game of the IRB U19 World Championship in Dubai.

Dundee HSFP props Alan Dymock and Gordon Reid swap shirts, giving Dymock a starting berth. Bath centre Jack Cuthbert comes in at outside centre moving Stirling County’s Richard Mill to the bench.

Wright said: We are trying to get some continuity into our game and with this starting line-up, we feel we will have the momentum to get a result.”

Having tasted defeat against Australia and Wales already, the Scots look to build on their performance and achieve a result against the Japanese.

The Scots’ fourth game of the tournament will be in the semi-final play-offs on Monday 17 April.
