UPDATE SYSTEMS HAWICK SEVENS
The Hawick 7s this year are sponsored by Jock Rae of Update Systems and are known as the Update Systems Hawick 7s. They will take place this Saturday, the 15th April. In addition to the very generous sponsorship from Update Systems, Hawick RFC are grateful to a number of other businesses and people for sponsorship at the 7s. One of the events sponsored is, Sponsor a Team & Win a Prize. The name of each team competing in the Update Systems Hawick 7s was put into the hat along with the name of 16 sponsors, and they were matched as follows :-

The sponsor of the team winning the Update Hawick 7s wins a flight for two people to Paris and two nights B & B in a top Paris hotel plus tickets for the 2006-2007 France v Scotland game. The prize is sponsored by Henderson Travel.
There will be Corporate Hospitality in a large marquee at Mansfield Park and the guest speaker is Doddie Weir (former Melrose, Borders, Newcastle Falcons & Scotland player).

A Disco will take place in the marquee from 7.30 p.m. until 11 p.m. Entry is Free.
A prize draw will take place at the Disco, 1st Prize A Weekend for Two in a four star hotel in London and £100, 2nd Prize: A Bicycle, 3rd Prize: A Colour Television. Prize draw tickets will be on sale during the day.
The Hawick Albion RFC committee are fund-raising at the 7s, as they are selling food throughout the day.
