UPDATE SYSTEMS HAWICK SEVENS
Hawick reached the final of their own sports, playing some excellent rugby throughout the tournament.
In the final they came up against a very good Newcastle Falcons Seven who in the end were just to quick and powerful for Hawick and thoroughly deserved to be crowned sevens winners for the second year running.
The first half of the final was quite evenly matched with John Coutts and Dean Mccracken scoring tries and Falcons scoring 3 tries for a 21 points to 7 halftime lead. Falcons turned on the style in the second half and ran in a further 5 tries without reply for a winning score of 52 points to 12.
