Alright Troops,

The annual Hawks golf outing to Blackwaterfoot, Arran, has been arranged for
the 17th June. The script is (for anyone who has never been before);
Get the 1st ferry over on the saturday morning.
Make our way to Blackwaterfoot, where we play 2 rounds at the picturesque
Shiskine Golf course (12 hole course), split by some lunch and a beer.
We then get our glad rags on and head to the local bar for, a pub dinner,
the issuing a few totally guff prizes (including the coveted green 'elf'
jacket), and as much beer as you can drink until you fall over.
There is accomodation available, courtesy of Lord and Lady Maxton, and
Murray Stewart, for those that would like to stay over (most do).
The standard of golf ranges from the depths of a 'rigor mortis-like' Peter
Dalton explaining how he physically can't swing the club because his
shoulders don't move that way (at all), to the current holder of the title,
and local celebrity, Ritchie Maxton (shark).
The cost of the day ends up fairly expensive, but you can make it cheaper by
not drinking as much, or bringing your own packed lunch (or not eating at
all - cause thats cheating).
We have 16 places available (4 tee-off times), and they are distributed on a
first-come first serve basis
