THREE IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
Scotland Under 19 recorded their third win in a row by scoring three tries against Samoa tonight to finish ninth at the IRB U19 World Championship in Dubai.
The 18-12 win saw tries from Richard Vernon, Dave Lambert and Daniel Levison complimented by a Cameron Ferguson penalty saw the Scots compose themselves against a very physical Samoan outfit.
Head coach Peter Wright said: “The boys played with fantastic attitude and were pretty awesome throughout the whole game.
“The game was so physical that we had two guys taken off with concussion but the boys played with real passion and I am very proud of their performance tonight.”
