After our conversation on Wednesday night I thought I'd drop you a line to thank you and the rest of Glasgow Hawks for the very enjoyable time I've had at the club.
The decision to leave and join Hamilton has been a very tough one to make. I've had five great seasons and the last three have been especially good.
There are so many people I'd like to thank: yourself, the coaches and all the behind the scenes guys for all your hard work: the physios, especially Linda and Helen for patching me up on many occasions.
I'd particularly like to thank all the players who over the years have made it such a pleasure to play and train at Old Anniesland. A special thankyou also must go to the members of the ATC, you know who you are.
I wish the club all the very best for the future and I can see no reason why the boys can't go on and win a fourth consecutive title.
I will definitely be back at the club for a few beers when ever I can, and promise to continue organising the annual golf outing to Blackwaterfoot!!
I have made friendships at Hawks that I hope will last the rest of my life. Again many many thanks to you all.
With my very best wishes
Regards
Richie
