RUGBY MATTERS is a leading agency for the organisation and running of rugby academies. We cater for boys and girls aged six to eighteen, no matter what their ability. All our Academies run over three days during school holidays and half-terms.
These are carefully tailored by our experts to age and ability, and offer participants a unique opportunity to be coached by professionals and meet international rugby stars.
Our philosophy 'rugby for all' is central to everything we do.
We work in association with a number of International and Premiership rugby players. These players will be hands on at our Academies, and give input into our coaching methods.
They will help to develop training sessions based around those of professional teams, and offering all participants an unparalleled coaching experience.
RUGBY MATTERS OBJCTIVES
All our Academies provide an excellent opportunity for boys and girls of all ages and abilities to develop their rugby skills and knowledge in an enjoyable and stimulating environment, under the instruction of our experienced and expert coaches.
Every Academy we run is attended by Gregor Townsend, giving players an opportunity to learn from the best. All our Academies follow the training formats used by Premiership and International teams.
The aim of the Academy is to ensure that the participants are challenged and they will be divided into groups of ability accordingly, from novices to experienced representative players. All the participants on our Academies are fully covered under our insurance policy. There will be someone fully qualified in first aid present at all times.
Our coaching code of conduct is in accordance with the guidelines set out in the RFU Coaching Continuum.
