Andy Henderson will miss Glasgow's game with Connacht
Glasgow will be without former Hawk Andy Henderson for their vital Celtic League showdown with Connacht on Friday.
Scotland coach Frank Hadden wants to rest his top players this weekend, ahead of the showdown with the Barbarians at Murrayfield tomorrow week.

And that had led to fears the Warriors would be without all six of their national squad members for the trip to Ireland.

But Glasgow coach, Sean Lineen, whose side need a win to have any chance of landing a Heineken Cup spot, will still be able to field a full-strength starting line-up.

Only Andy, who is Hadden's first- choice inside centre, will not be involved ahead of the glamour friendly and then the summer tour of South Africa.

That means national squad members Dan Parks, Sam Pinder, Donnie Macfadyen, Jon Petrie and Scott Lawson are all available to play.

Sean revealed in the Evening Times: "I had hoped to have the chance to rest Andy already this season, but haven't been able to do so. He has been a great servant for us.

"He has got three high- intensity games of international rugby looming in the next three weeks against the Baa-Baas and the Springboks and needs time off.

"But I have spoken to Frank and, rest assured, the other Glasgow players in the Scotland squad will be allowed to play. But I have still to finalise my team."

Glasgow need to beat bottom-placed Connacht and hope the Border Reivers lose to Newport Gwent Dragons at home to qualify for the premier European competition.
However, Lineen has backed his side to rise to the occasion and bow out of a disappointing domestic campaign on a massive high in Galway.

Sean stated: "We have left our run a little late in the season, but I can't fault my guys for the effort they have put in lately. I am confident we can give Connacht a good game."
