Coach Peter Wright has made four changes to the starting line up from the Scotland U19 team who beat Romania 8-7 on Saturday – one positional and three personnel. Jonathan Alston (Dundee HSFP) moves from full-back to wing to accommodate Tane Jericevich (Aberdeen GSFP) from the bench. Also joining the starting line-up are Ali Miller (GHA) at scrum half and James King (The Borders and East of Scotland Institute of Sport). Miller replaces Jamie Hood (Stewart’s Melville FP) who drops to the bench and King has recovered sufficiently from a calf injury to take his place in the starting line-up, meaning Greig Cottrell (Hawick) also drops to the bench.
Scotland will then face their final match of the tournament on Sunday 17 April against either France or Romania for to determine whether they are placed 9th or 11th overall.
